The best thing about being divorced in my twenties is… knowing that I’m getting a second chance at life. I get to have a “do-over,” but with years and years of wisdom under my belt that I wouldn’t have otherwise had.
I celebrated my divorce by… My sister cooked dinner for the whole familyand we picked up gourmet cupcakes. I’m planning on a divorce tattoo as my real celebration though!

Advice for others just starting the divorce process: No matter how overwhelming it may get, or how scared you may feel, always remember why you’re here. Don’t dwell on the past, but allow the past struggles to propel you through this process so that you can start your new and beautiful life.
If I could trash my wedding dress in any way, it would be: I got to trash my dress in the most perfect way. In my dad’s auto repair shop and covered in oil!
Last word: Use this time to discover life in a new light, and rediscover yourself. Look at it as a do over instead of a failure or mistake. Few people get the opportunity to have a second chance like we do, so take it… run with it… and enjoy the ride!
